As you guys know from one of my previous posts, I’m a huge fan of Blue Lagoon Iceland Skincare and all the benefits their products reap on the skin. If you want to read more about one of my favorite creams from them (BL+ the cream) you can head to this post.
To recap however, the foundation of all Blue Lagoon Iceland Skincare products is the Blue Lagoon Water, a unique geothermal source that has healing properties for the skin. The water is rich in bioactives, Blue Lagoon Microalgae and Silica, which are patented for their ability to promote collagen and strengthen the skin barrier.
Now one thing I’ve sworn can make a huge difference in the skin is incorporating retinol. Trust me, it’s a game changer. Finding the right retinol however can be challenging and I’m not lying when I tell you I’ve never found a more hydrating and non irritating retinol until the BL+ retinol cream 0.3%. This is a cell renewing formula designed to target signs of skin aging and refine skin texture. It works by accelerating cellular turnover, promoting collagen production, preventing UV-induced collagen degradation, and minimizing the appearance of pores and blemishes. I notice a difference in my skin almost immediately after I start using it.
How to use:
Apply a pea sized amount to clean face in the evening. Avoid the eye area. Start once or twice a week, and if tolerated gradually increase to every night. Follow with BL+ The cream if needed and use sun protection during the day.
